Day-by-Day Itinerary

  •  Evening: Board a Volvo bus from Delhi (approx. 520 km) or Chandigarh (approx. 280 km)
  • Overnight travel to Bir (10-12 hrs from Delhi | 6-7 hrs from Chandigarh)

Tip: Carry light snacks, a water bottle, neck pillow, and a light jacket

  •  Morning: Arrive in Bir, check into you homestay/hostel and freshen up. Breakfast at a cozy café. 
  • Explore:

Chokling Monastery – A peaceful Tibetan temple with great views

Tsering Jong Monastery – Less crowded and very serene

Bir Tea Factory – Take a short tour of the tea gardens and factory

Bir Market & Tibetan Colony – Explore local crafts and Tibetan food 

  • Evening: Relax at the Landing Site with sunset views. Enjoy evening at cafés like June 16, Garden Café, or Silver Linings 
  • Overnight Stay: Bir
  •  Early Morning: Drive to Billing (take-off point) – 14 km uphill
  • Experience Paragliding with certified pilots – Soar above the mountains & valleys (20-25 mins flight).
